The Endowment

The Endowment of Christ United Methodist Church serves an important function by providing members and friends with a means of making bequests and significant charitable gifts to Christ Church that will become a permanent endowment of financial support and a living memorial.

Having a healthy and sizable endowment benefits all of the church on a long-term basis by making available funds to support existing and new Church Ministries and Support Programs. Our Endowment Fund is financially healthy as the funds are invested in safe and well-rated mutual funds.

The Endowment Committee is responsible for directing the Fund investments and for annually distributing the earnings. After making a tithe of income to outreach and applying a portion of current income for re-investment to continue the growth of the Endowment, the Committee then awards grants.
