Doorway Greeters:
Not to be
confused with Sanctuary greeters, these folks greet at the
outer doors before a worship service. May required giving
some directions to people new to the building.
Parking Lot
Volunteer:
Individuals interested in
assisting with parking and traffic flow during busy times in
the parking lot. This is a part of our welcoming and
hospitality efforts. No prior experience necessary. A team
leader will assist you.
Sanctuary Greeter:
Greet people
entering the sanctuary for worship at the 9:30 and 11:00
services.
Shepherd Care Team:
Individuals
or families interested in helping our new members become more
familiar and comfortable with the church.
Sunday Morning
Usher:
Provide a welcoming atmosphere as people arrive for Sunday
morning worship services. Greeting, seating and taking the
offering are the main responsibilities. Other duties include
handling emergencies as they arise and collecting the
attendance sheets at the end of the services. Each of the 2
services has 2 teams which work alternate months.
Sunday Night
Usher/Greeter (SNUG):
Provide a welcoming atmosphere
as people arrive for Sunday Night worship services. Greeting,
seating, distributing
the worship guide, and
taking the offering are the main responsibilities. Other
duties include handling emergencies as they arise and
collecting the attendance sheets at the end of the services.
The team meets at 5 pm for prayer and devotions prior to the
service. Teams work alternate months.
Welcome Center
Volunteer:
An outgoing person who enjoys
meeting new people and sharing information about the church.
