We offer distinctively Christian
support and healing through clergy counseling and with our lay pastors and our support
groups.
Lay
pastors are members of the church who have the gifts of
listening, compassion, faith and encouragement. They are
assigned to individuals by our Minister of Congregational
Care.
Support
Groups (see brochure of that title) provide a setting for
individuals to share with others who are dealing with the same
issues.
Clergy
Counseling
In times
of crisis – with death or illness or family break-ups…
In times of
indecision, when a pastoral perspective would help…
In times of
faith questions when a trained minister can help with answers…
Pastoral
care can provide the much-needed healing touch.
The
ministers are all available for short-term counseling
situations or consultations and may be scheduled by calling
the church office.
Additionally, the ministers provide both pre-marital
counseling and pre-baptism counseling for couples preparing
for those two important events.
