What is the
Altar Guild?
The purpose of
the Altar Guild is to assist the ministers in providing the
appropriate liturgical setting consistent with the worship
service. This includes the oversight of all activities for the
Chancel, Sanctuary and Sacristy as well as the preparation of

Who is the
Altar Guild?
Current
Co-Chairs:
Celia
Christman and Judy Steeb.
The guild is
comprised of approximately 75 men and women who complete
specific designated tasks. The depth of the membership, as
well as the variety and timing of tasks, provides everyone an
opportunity to serve as best fits their gifts and their
schedule. Membership in the guild is open to those persons
within the congregation who wish to fulfill a sacred role of
dedicated service. Additional information regarding the Guild
can be found in the Altar Guild Handbook which is
available on the Harvest tables.
For those
persons interested in serving the church through this
ministry, please contact Mark Reed at the church office or by
