REEL Sanctuary is a ministry that combines watching films with
discussions about their spiritual implications. Its main
purpose is to encourage spiritual discernment in and through
the main storytelling medium of our time. We do not always
support the views in the films that we see, but our purpose is
to prepare ourselves to dialogue with each other and those we
may encounter. “We need to look as Christians at the stories
that contemporary culture is telling us by learning how to
discern and evaluate perspectives in these representations of
life in God’s world.” (taken from Eyes Wide Open: Looking

Reel Sanctuary will not be meeting in
April. Our next gathering time will be Saturday, May 17
to see "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian." (Note
that this is the third Saturday in May). Karyn will send out
an email closer to the date with theater, time, and
