Single Adult Ministries (SAM)
provides a wide variety of educational and growth
opportunities on Monday nights. We welcome all singles
- not just those who are members of our church!
Divorce
Recovery Workshops provide
support and nurture for those experiencing the reality of
separation or divorce. This class is recommended for new
members to SAM.
SALT (Singles Affirm Life Together)/ PHD (Passing the Hurdles
of Divorce)
combines the “getting on with life's relationships” course
and provides topics for discussion/study groups of general
interest to all singles.
Searchers and Seekers is an
introductory Bible study for those with Bible/faith questions who
may be looking for a new or deeper relationship with God.
Grief
Support is a series offered
by the Health Ministry which creates a healing community for those
grieving over the death of a spouse.
SAM
has a wide variety of social events on weekends and holidays
throughout the year, including bowling, concerts, dances, snow
tubing, canoeing, movie nights, and picnics. We offer retreats for fellowship, renewal, and fun. Many
activities are family-friendly. SAM
alumni are welcomed back to the Memorial Day & Labor Day
picnics and the Christmas Dinner Dance.
SAM seeks to be an
inclusive, diverse community of singles bearing witness to the
unifying presence of Jesus Christ, and is open to all singles
of the church and community.
